The full twelve-animal set is the zodiac as it was meant to be seen: together. The zodiac animal head busts comes through clearly in the listing photos. The black marble bases is handled with a light touch — present, not overdone.
Each of the twelve head busts is cast in metal copper with a golden finish. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig — the whole cycle. Every bust stands on its own polished black marble base. Arrange them in zodiac order, or by personal preference — both work. Details like the golden finish are what make handmade pieces worth the money. It stands on a polished black marble base that steadies the piece visually. The metalwork has a satisfying heft — this is not a lightweight replica.
Twelve guardians for one very lucky shelf. A complete set for the serious collector. The definitive zodiac display — no animal left behind.
