Some coins decorate a theme; this one is devoted to 12 Zodiac Animals Set Realistic Reliefs. The copper finish gives the piece a warm glow and a satisfying heft. Subtle touches like 12 reward the collector who looks twice.
No clutter here, only zodiac placed exactly where they belong. Few ancient Chinese-style coins render their subject with this much care in so small a format. The 12 Zodiac Animals Set Realistic Reliefs composition balances detail with breathing room. A copper finish is what turns a good design into a coin worth keeping. It slots neatly into any zodiac collectible coin album or display case. The ancient Chinese-style coins shelf deserves a strike with this much personality.
It is the rare ancient Chinese coin that feels personal rather than mass-produced. Slip it into a coin album or keep it loose; this Chinese cash-style coin impresses either way. The 12 detailing alone justifies a spot on the shelf.
