Customs Duties and Taxes for International Shipments
Customs Duties and Taxes
Items shipped internationally may be subject to customs duties and sales tax or Value Added Tax (VAT) set by the destination country. These fees are determined during customs clearance and are charged in addition to the item price and shipping cost you pay at checkout. (VAT is typically not included in the item price.) We recommend contacting your local customs office to confirm the applicable charges before ordering.
Your Responsibility
To complete your purchase, you acknowledge that any customs duties and taxes are your responsibility. If your order is subject to these fees, your shipping carrier will contact you — the fees must be paid before delivery can be scheduled. You may also be asked to provide personal identification, such as a tax ID or social security number, for customs processing.
Delays
Shipping delays caused by customs processing are not uncommon. While we have no control over customs timelines and are not involved in assessing or collecting these fees, we are happy to answer any questions — contact us at [email protected].
